Killed Blackhorn, server 2nd, top 50 US10 kill, top 400 world, our highest ranked real boss kill this expac.
Definitely the 3rd hardest fight (maybe 2nd) of this tier. All that remains is Spine of Deathwing and Madness. A disappointing tier as once you finish Spine, Madness isn't bad. Sadly in its current state Spine pretty much requires a raid full of legendary staffs + class stacking. So while we are not in a state to kill it right now, we will either in a month of farming, or when a nerf comes our way. We shall see which.

Beat Obsidium to server second by about an hour tonight. DPS requirement is more lax on 10 man, but, then again we were pretty far ahead.

Killed Zonozz pretty quickly. Helps when you come in with a complete strategy.
Hagara got fixed this week, so have to do legit Frost Phase, hopefully get her down and then 5/8H this week if Christmas attendance doesn't screw us.

Downed 1 boss last week, but it is very easy so didn't make a post. Then spent about 2-3 hrs each on the remaining bosses, without any kills.
This week we killed Yor'sahj and Hagara. Yor'sahj is a decent fight, but Hagara is a bugged out piece of shit. Apparently blizzard's system is incapable of calculating the effect of a stacking 10% increased damage debuff. She is particularly fond of targeting dart with an attack that should hit for 100k + 30% = 130k, yet hits for 180k and one shots him most of the time. GM response, "Working as Intended".
3rd on server right now, top 500 world. Obsidium is also no longer server first thanks to the other 10 man guild. Though in all fairness 10 man is actually easier, at least on a few bosses...

Killed Deathwing normal tonight and completed DS normal. We spent about 2 hours on the PTR, but in reality it didn't matter. The first 6 bosses are easily 1 shot or killed within 3 pulls.
Special shout out to Kronn for not realizing we had no resistance aura on Deathwing for an hour today. It actually made that fight challenging?!
Ragnaros heroic was also nerfed into the ground, so 1 shot that as well. Two nights of raiding, 8 new bosses dead and firelands clear.
Heroic race starts next week!

Finally killed Ragnaros on our 306th attempt. Took us about six weeks, but got server second tonight and a top 200 US kill, top 700 world, 125th US10. Pretty happy considering we have maintained our 3 night raid schedule (and several 2) the entire tier.
This fight was nerfed twice (15% hp reduction followed by 15% dmg reduction), and it is still one of the hardest fights I've seen in this game. Four phases, and two transition phases, taking over 10 minutes. The most fun part being phase 4 is perhaps the hardest and takes 7 minutes to reach, assuming you can perfectly execute the fight up until that point, and push p3 before a second meteor spawns which we did not have the gear to do until last week (thanks blizz for shitty drops in 10 man).
T13 (deathwing) is on PTR now, looking forward to a few short raid weeks before we start the next push.
Recruiting one healer, preferably a priest. If you are a former member with/without gear and you are serious about coming back feel free to talk to me, draeger, or faize. Now is the best time to gear people up. Ideally we want someone geared, especially if we do not already know you are good, but we might make an exception to have someone we know is worth gearing up.
Also, on our kill 9/10 people ranked on World of Logs, with yours truly heading it up with 13th world prot paladin dps.

Need a hunter for this, lost our hunter last week to Irene, then 2 shot this today. Not sure how much was due to the nerf and how much was due to correct group composition.

Also we went and killed heroic Chog'all in 4 pulls since we finished quickly this week. Nice thing about being overgeared for old content. Funny part is we forgot it dies at 2% and thought we had wiped when bacchaus landed the killing blow. (11/13H)

Just in case any old players (or perhaps new ones) are visiting the forum we could very much use a new holy paladin. Currently we are using off spec players, to great success, but we definitely need a replacement soon.
Post an application, pm me here, or whisper me in game (nervling). We would take a resto shaman too, but holy paladin preferred.
P.S. After 2 nights 5/7 firelands, normals are ez.
