Kinetic-Frostmane is now "Kinetic of The Forgotten Coast"
 

So it took many us a very long time to come to this decision. Many of us have been on frostmane for 4+ years and the only server we have played on. Unfortunately Blizzard forced us to move servers if we wished to continue to experience the content they have made due to a long history of poor server performance on Frostmane. With our new realm we look forward to never facing the hard mode Lag boss ever again. We look forward to being able to kill hard mode bosses during normal hours this week on our new server.

Oh and am I supposed to mention the Tasty fags in this post? Grats on being frostmane 4th.

why not go to a server with alot of higher end guilds?

...You act like there isn't competition from guilds that arent on the server...? unless you've always considered obsidium a competition...

there is a guild that is 3 hardmodes or 2 weeks behind us right now. i wouldnt say anythign is a walk in the park.

There woulda never been any competition for kinetic on any server if we'd had just kept up recruiting standards and maintained the hardcore attitude utilized in the past......but in reality kinetic has always been only semi-ambitious, because the leaders have just been sympathetic to the fact that raiding is not the most important thing in everyone's life... and that will always reinforce the thin line between world first elite (which I wouldn't expect without some serious encouragement in the form of dollars and cents) and server first awesomesauce (which is still worthy of praise and should go hand in hand with enjoyment of the game at a high level).

I was always proud of any achievement we made tho, and I'm sure there'll be a ton of new ones for you guys left still fighting the good fight. Have fun on the new server gents.

I think kinetic was best in the days of VC, cause their was incentive.

No its not. That is basically top end format now in this game. Its all about doing the same fights with little or big things that make it harder.

I enjoy the two server forum threads (one on FM, one on TFC)

It's nice to see both words of encouragement and lvl 1 alt jealous/emo rage.

As for the "best times" of Kinetic -- I think it could be almost anytime in our history, just depends on when you were apart of it. I will always feel the vanilla WoW days were the best in my opinion, but that doesn't diminish everything we accomplished in TBC (or even now in WotLK and beyond).

The fact the guild is still standing is huge.
